One night for dinner we drank "Zombie Virus" and "Red Blood" along with our brains and guts in a blood sauce with dandruff topping! We had a Mad Scientist stop by for a visit and the kids carved pumpkins!
The pumpkins came out great! M made a ghost, N made a vampire, and K made a flamingo. We put K's in the arms of our friendly yard pirate! This year we decorated our yard with skulls, a glowing witch, pirates, and Frankenstein. FUN!
We had a variety of costumes for Halloween! L was a bear, M was an M&M (complete with blue hair!), N was a vampire (He didn't even look the same once his hair was black!) and K became a witch! We went T or Ting at the nursing home first. The folks there love to see the kids and it's good for the kids to see that they can bring a smile to someones face. L was thrilled with the suckers that he got. He kept eating one after the other! He wasn't happy when we took his bag away! I, of course, couldn't let the kids have all of the fun! I dressed up too. My sister came by later and she was a Dark Elf. She did a great job with the make up - don't you think?
This is the brood that we took out to beg from door to door for free candy! We have a few witches, an M&M, a Vampire, a dead Pirate Skeleton, the Grim Reaper and a fairy! The night was beautiful - not too cold, not to warm. It did start to rain on us towards the end of our haunt but that didn't stop these happy kids!

Next year we should try to all get together for a HALLOWEEN dinner and have an entire 5 course meal made out of "icky" stuff. I bet the kids would love it!
