Today we got a call from M's teacher. Anytime the phone rings and we see Mrs. L's name we always wonder "what now?". You never know with M. Is she getting it? Did she have a bad day? She tries hard but tends to get frustrated which results in difficult days. But not today! The phone call was to let us know that M was the first to finish and turn in her work - that she had a great day and that she is doing great!
Now I know that school has only been back in session for a 2 days but this phone call really lifted M - it made her smile, it made her feel good! I hope she keeps up the hard work and remembers the wonderful feeling of today.
