Remember Obama’s aggressive lobbying for the porkulus package at a Caterpillar plant in February? Obama grandly promised that if the stimulus passed, Caterpillar would rehire laid-off workers - and continue to post a profit in these hard economic times. He finished his speech by urging us to watch CAT to see how his stimulus package would work.
GUESS WHAT? That silly package passed and CAT just posted it's first quarterly loss in 16 years!!! Yep - I see how this is going to work!
