SATURDAY (4-25-09): Today was AA and her DH's 5th anniversary! We went to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then joined them for a Real Salt Lake Soccer game! I found the "kilt guy" - we see him at every game, playing his bag pipes - and he was kind enough to stop and let me take a picture with him. The first half of the game wasn't bad - it was back and forth - no score, but lots of shots on the goal by RSL. Then the 2nd half they seemed to be on fire! They scored 6 goals - 6 amazing goals - 6 different players! We were on the right end of the field too - we got to see em' all, up close and personal and Tim got a great shot of the 3rd goal going into the net and the goalie laid out! NICE! Fun game!
SUNDAY: This fluffy orange kitty has adopted our family. The kids have named her "Ginger". She is here every morning and every night - and she brings other kitty friends with her too! Sunday night we had dessert pizzas - M and L loved making their own - what a treat!
MONDAY: N had a t-ball game tonight. The weather was rather chilly and windy. L couldn't take all the excitement and fell asleep! N played a good game - like a true ball player- hanging on for dear life from the weenie thief! We also caught him dancing a time or two while he was playing catcher - too funny!
TUESDAY: This is the scene in my home every single day. I see this in the morning when Tim leaves for work and then again after lunch when he's heading back to work. He's gives the boys a high five in the house and then at the window "one last time before [he] goes". It always makes me smile!
THURSDAY: K had a soccer game tonight - N had another t-ball game and M had a soccer game. M decided that she just didn't want to go and we weren't going to force her (considering it would impact is heavily if we did). So Tim went to the t-ball game and I went to the soccer game (I took L with me). The weather was a little windy but otherwise fine. K got to be team captain for this game and she did pretty well encouraging and yelling at the players while on the field. She had one assist and a pretty good game overall. Her team lost 5-3. BUMMER! After the game there was team pictures. I knew it was going to be a long afternoon of sitting in the stroller for L so I got him a bag of cherries! Would you know that he sat there and ate that entire bag BEFORE HALF TIME! GEEZ! After the cherries were gone, L kept occupied by identifying airplanes. He loves those things! So it was a nice evening!
