SATURDAY: All soccer season, my nephew - D and N have played their games on the same day at the same time. Therefore I've never been able to watch D play and AA has never been able to watch N play. But today was different - both boys had a Saturday morning game, but one was at 9am and the other at 10:30am - FINALLY! So we spent our morning cheering on these mini pros! D did a great job we just loved cheering for him. Then for N's game we borrowed AA's new camera and got some sweet shots! My favorite shot is in the center! The grass could have been cut - that would have helped - but the boys didn't care - they got to play!
SUNDAY: Mother's Day! On Friday there was a primary activity. The kids decorated cards with "kisses" and filled out a survey about their moms. My cards showed up without the "kisses" (wonder who ate those?!) and the surveys made me laugh. One of my favorite parts came from N - the Question was "What's your mom's favorite thing to do?" and he answered "spank butts". HA HA - what a great day!
MONDAY: L found this Hawaiian shirt in his dresser. I have a "one day" drawer of clothes that are bigger sizes. This shirt is a 2T - apparently it fits now! He loved it - he slept in it - he wore it for 2 days! Grandma M would be so proud!! N had a ball game tonight too. He was being a goof ball - turning his helmet around and such - he's so entertaining!
TUESDAY: M had an appointment today and had to have her blood drawn. She didn't like the process but was so proud of her green bandage - she even wore it to school the next day just to show her friends! We also found a few fresh strawberries in our garden! The girls were thrilled! They picked them and K put her strawberry in the fridge to save for later. Well, N just couldn't have that - I caught him in the fridge looking for said strawberry. - YEAH - he climbed into the fridge!!
WEDNESDAY: N's last soccer game for the spring season. There are 6 players but for the entire spring season these are the only guys that showed up! Most of the time there was only 3 - which meant no subs and a lot of running. They did great - played great - and they were tough to beat! Way to go boys - and thanks to the coach who stepped in when our other couch had to step down!
Also on WEDNESDAY I got a surprise visit! This is Larry. Larry worked for me at Blue Bayou in Louisiana. He was one of my lifeguards and he was responsible to help with the chemicals in the pools. Now Larry is a "Rock Doctor" (a geologist) and he was in town on business. AA picked him up and brought him by to say HI!! It was a nice surprise and it was so great to see him!
THURSDAY - Laundry day - and someone left me a tip! Wonder what I'll buy!
Also on THURSDAY - K had another soccer game! We arrived 15 minutes early like always - so that the girls could kick the ball around. Tim noticed that one of K's socks was coming down and he called her over. Well, she was missing a shin guard. WHAT? How do you to that? She later told us that she couldn't find it so she was just going to play without it - well, you can't do that! She told her coach and he said "stuff a sock in it" - well, who goes to a soccer game with extra socks? NOT I!!! So, Tim left and headed home to find her missing shin guard and in the mean time K borrowed one of N's diapers for padding so that she could play. Tim showed up with the missing guard and we were able to switch it out and no one was the wiser! GEEZ!!
Later, M asked if we could pull her 2nd "wiggly toof". L wanted in on the action and started pulling on his own teeth - silly boy. Well, that "wiggly toof" came out and now Miss M is missing 2 teeth! SO CUTE!
FRIDAY: This is what delayed my Friday post! Tim and Rick (AA's hubby) are taking D and N on a Father & Son Camp out. Both of our wards are going this weekend to different places. Tim decided to go with Rick -so we got the camping gear together, loaded them up with goodies, packed them in the truck and sent them off for a quick camping trip. They even took their fishing gear, and my camera! I hope they have a great time!Well, that's it! Looks fun doesn't it?! See ya next time!

Yep - it was a fun week.
Great week! I guess it was worldwide church camp-out yesterday. J didn't take R because he had to work this am. Oh well. We love the Friday posts.
