weekly review!

Ok - crazy, busy week and I didn't have my camera with me the entire time! But I did grab a few fun shots over the past 7 days. SATURDAY (May 30): Remember the pig we purchased? Well, the meat company called us and he was ready to pick up. He filled our freezer with 150+ pounds of meat!
MONDAY: This silly guy was entertained all morning long with this box! I love it when they use their imagination like this - creativity has been stifled by TV and computers, so the more they can imagine - the better!
TUESDAY: After N's piano lesson he had a buddy stay over and play! They wanted to get out the "better batter baseball" set, so we got it out and they were having a blast whacking the ball across the yard! But when it was N's friend's turn he didn't pay attention and he whacked the ball and on the follow through he whacked L in the eye too. It was swollen within a moment or two - poor guy! You can see it a little in this picture.
WEDNESDAY: Thunder storms rolled through our area the first few days of this week. These are always a treat because you don't see the good ole' lightening and thunder type storms up this way. They tend to break up around the mountains. This little storm brought our neighbors out to watch - it was a beautiful sight!
THURSDAY: Kindergarten graduation - what fun! N's teacher told us that these guys will graduate in 2021 - WOW, that seems so far away! They called the kids by alphabetical order according to first name, so N got to stand by his "best bud", Nick. What fun!
THURSDAY: After Kindergarten graduation and lunch, K wanted us to come and see her volcano erupt! So, while we were waiting, L played on the playground - so cute! Finally, K's class came outside and it was time to let the eruptions begin! It was fun to watch all 75 volcanoes bubble! On the way home we saw this cool car - this kids were really fascinated with it!

FRIDAY: Today is the last day of school! The kids have grown from day one to today! They've learned so much, they've made great friends, they've had AWESOME teachers! We are so proud of them and their accomplishments. Next year we'll have a 6th grader, 2nd grader, and 1st grader - WOW!
