Tonight, after dinner, N wanted to know how long it would take to drive to Washington, D.C. ...
N (to Tim): Dad, how long would it take to get to Washington, D.C?
Tim: Um... maybe 2 days
N: oh
K (decides to offer some wisdom): Why would you want to go to D.C. anyway?
N: because I can see the white house
K: N that trip would be a rip off - we don't have a good president anyway!
(At this point, Tim and I look at each other and conceal a laugh - hey, what can I say, she's right!)
