weekly pics

Yeah - time for our pictures! I tried to remember a picture each day - but with all the excitement - well, that just didn't happen! But let me give you a run down of what's been going on...
SUNDAY (Aug. 9) - Grandma Martha came into town right at midnight - the kids had no idea, so when they woke up Sunday morning, we got faces like this....! M was the first to discover Grandma and when she announced her find to the rest of the clan - they were sort of curious, so they all went to take a peek and sure enough - there was Grandma! YAY - what a great thing to wake up to on Sunday!MONDAY: After church, I was putting away some dishes- the kids were running around like crazy animals - it was a joyous day! I grabbed a pot off of the stove and turned to put it in the sink at the same time that M was running through the kitchen - the result - a black eye! Poor girl!
(oops - this should be under FRIDAY - sorry for the confusion!) - on Friday (Aug. 7) - Tim took K and N to meet Kyle Beckerman - a forward for Real Salt Lake (Major League Soccer team). We affectionately call him "The caveman" because of his dreads! We had some pictures of him and he signed them for the kids. What a fun experience!
WEDNESDAY: Ah - this is so funny! We went to lunch and afterwards we went to Segull Books right next door. When L saw a picture of Jesus he started saying "Jeezuz, Jeezuz". So, I turned the stroller so that he could see better. At that point he raised both arms high in the air and said "Help me Jeezuz". Oh boy was I rolling! Now this picture (the one that you see now), was taken on Thursday - in a Deseret Book store - where the same thing happened and there were witnesses too! It was so funny!
WEDNESDAY: We also visited the grave site of Brigham Young - it was a beautiful little park!
Thursday - off to Ogden we went! We visited the Union Station Train Museum. We didn't go inside - but we looked at a lot of the BIG trains outside. It was so cool! The kids enjoyed running up and down the tracks and climbing on the big trains! We also found these horses in Ogden - they are everywhere. Apparently every "Pioneer day", a few more are made and put on the streets - we found the ones from the 75th year - so cool!
So, there it is - we've been running around each day - shopping - eating - laughing - and having a great time with Grandma M! Until next time....
