Weekly pics for you!

The weekend has been busy and lazy all rolled into one! The end of our week - last week - was so hectic that on Saturday I chose to SIT and DO NOTHING all day - and ALL of us took a nap and watched TV and we didn't clean or even go anywhere!! It was NICE! So I'm just now getting to my pics from last week and I didn't take very many - but you get what you get and you don't throw a fit - right?!
Saturday (October 3) - today held the first few sessions of the October session of General Conference. I love conference because it refreshes me and reminds me of the path that I need to take. So for breakfast I made cinnamon monkey bread - yum! I usually make this in a large bundt pan but for kid effect I made individual versions in a small fluted muffin pan. I use to make this all the time for myself - in college - but have never done it for the kids - sad - I know! So today was a treat and they loved it!

Sunday - recently L has been taking off his diaper and running to the potty. No - he doesn't do anything because by the time he gets his diaper off it's too late. But it's fun to see that he's starting to recognize where he needs to be when business needs to be done! (I am hoping to say goodbye to diapers within the next 6 months!)

MONDAY: Every day at 5pm the kids sit at the table to get their homework done while I work on dinner. L always grabs the crayons and jumps up at the table too. It makes me laugh every time because he brings his finished work to me to check just like N and M do! (K takes hers to Tim because he knows more than I do!)
Tuesday - Tim was heading to the temple and L wanted to go. Tim had his temple bag and L grabbed the computer bag! He was none too happy when Tim had to leave him behind.

WEDNESDAY: today I finally got to canning 25lbs of pears! YUM! It's a messy job but well worth it to have "fresh" pears throughout the winter months. When it was all said and done I ended up with 14 quarts - DELICIOUS!

THURSDAY: Soccer day! This time the camera went to K's game! She is doing great and getting better with each game. I just told Tim that right when she's really starting to get aggressive and move her fanny on the field - the season is over. She has 1 more game - next week - let's hope that she finally scores the goal that she's looking for!
FRIDAY: AA decided that she needed to use my home to host a party. No big deal but when people are coming over than I get into MOLLY MAID MODE and EVERYTHING must be cleaned. As I made my way around the kitchen I came to the toaster and decided that it too must be cleaned (I mean - what if someone wanted to use the toaster - right?!) So I opened it up to clean the inside and look what I found! I'm amazed that the thing didn't short circuit!
