She's my friend!

A few weeks ago, the Crawford family came to visit us from Omaha, Nebraska! Shani and Jaren are our bestest friends!! We just love them - and their kids - and all that comes with them! So, for Spring Break, they decided to come here - to see us (and Jaren's family too since they are fairly close to us as well!) We were more than thrilled to have them, and although their sweet daughter threw up most of the time she was here, we still had a lot of fun visiting, laughing, taking pictures, telling stories, and talking about our future vacation plans!

Before Shani and Jaren had to head back home we went to Logan for "Baby Animal Days". We didn't know what to expect - we had never been - but it was something new and different and we thought the kids would like it.

One of the first things that we did was to ride the train! We saw baby bears while we were there, the kids played with baby turtles, saw baby pigs, baby cows, baby goats, baby chicks, baby rabbits... you get the picture! Then my friend Christy signed N up for "mutton bustin' " for us - since we were a little late. So - N rode a "mutton"! (for all of 2 seconds and came away with a concussion) But hey - it was fun to watch him and a new experience for all of us - that's for sure!

Finally when our BEAUTIFUL day came to an end, we headed to McDonald's to sit and visit one last time (for this trip anyway) and then we had to say good bye to our very bestest friends! I was so sad to see them go - but at least this time I KNOW when I'll see them again - in September, on a cruise!! So our separation won't be that long this go round. To Shani and Jaren, Reilly and Avery .... we sure love you and miss you tons already. And Reilly - I know you don't like L now, and he wasn't too sure of you... but one day you both will just adore each other - just as much as I adore your mom and dad! Thanks guys for the awesome visit and choosing to spend your time with us!! We love ya!
