RSL vs. FC Dallas...

Because we are season ticket holders for RSL soccer we are blessed with a few perks. For example, if we miss a game we can trade our tickets for a future game therefore adding to the number of people that we can take to a game. Well, we missed 2 games while we were on our cruise so we were able to trade our tickets - and we chose to trade them for the LAST game of the regular season. Then we chose to take K and N since they like soccer and N brought his best friend, Nick!

Before the game there is CARNIVAL REAL. It's not really a carnival as it is booths set up promoting businesses and they give out free stuff. During this carnival we got free RSL shirts from Bank One, free candy, free Burger King food, and more! N and Nick really wanted to win "King Bling" - a fake gold chain with a big Burger King symbol on it - they wanted it so bad that they kept getting in line to spin the wheel. Finally Nick spun and won his 3rd CHICKEN SANDWICH of the afternoon - but that sandwich was one short of the BLING! So when it was N's turn - he just moved the wheel one space, didn't spin it at all. The lady laughed and gave him his bling. It was funny!

Finally the game started... everyone was excited. It was a great game - even after Nick fell off the chair and got a bloody nose and bloody mouth! (yeah, that was fun to explain to his mom!). RSL ended up winning 2-0!!! YAY for a FANTASTIC season. RSL didn't lose a single home game - boy we are spoiled!
