Nathan didn't do bad for his first game and no practice! Like baseball, he doesn't know what foot he wants to use - he kicks well with both his left and right and that's just fine with us!! Nathan wasn't afraid of the ball but he was more interested in guarding the goal box rather than driving the ball down to score. I guess he was worried because there wasn't a goalie! (but there isn't in these games!)
There was a collision or two! There was even a few times that a player would roll on the ground (yes, we're training them early to fake those injuries!) Fortunately these boys are like steel and all is well!
After a last minute goal there were a few "High Fives" given! What great team work!!
We had so much fun watching these boys - they played well together and by the end of the 4, 8 minute quarters, they figured out what to do! WAY TO GO BLACK TIGERS!!

Soccer is so much fun to watch at that age. Well any sport is fun to watch when they are little. It gets more stressful the older they get because it's more competitive!
Cute cute,
Yep - an international soccer star in the making.
These are great candid pictures. I love the one where he's blocking the other kid. HOW FUN!
