Re-cap...
We had a jam packed weekend and now we're home! But, before we left we were fortunate enough to make a quick stop at the state capital to see an original copy of the Declaration of Independence. WOW!! We waited in line for about 1 1/2 hrs to see this and when we finally got to it - it was worth it! I loved that they let our little family into the viewing area without others. We were able to enjoy this amazing document without interruption or others crowding around.
As you know, we went the the Peach Festival! M was the only one that went with us - the others wanted to stay and play with Grandma! So, M got some over her very own peach ice-cream! It was so yummy!!!
We came home with 75lbs of peaches! Ok, so this was supposed to be split between my sisters and me. Today, Aonika and I canned about 33 jars of peaches. We had so much fun and it was nice to do the canning with someone! Thanks Aonika!
So, we had a busy weekend and obviously a busy start to the week - and it will continue to be busy - ah the joys of being a mommy!!
