A reunion of sorts

Meet my brother! He lives in Mississippi with his cute little family of 5 (he's the only guy!) and he drove out West to visit us! For his girls, this is the first time they've been west of Texas - so the snow and mountains are new to them and they are loving it! Anyway they spent a week in Colorado and then they came this way for the weekend. We've loved having them!!

This is my brother and I. I haven't seen him since last spring, but for my sisters it's been a lot longer than that so everyone gathered at my home last night for dinner and conversation (there were 19 of us!).

Here we are, all grown up, I wish I had a picture of us together like this when we were younger - for comparison purposes. We're all big now (in more ways than one!), we all have families of our own. Who would have thunk it!
All the girls! This is me with my sisters and sister-in-law, Jess! We love her and we love that she is getting to see "the world"! Before she married my brother, Jess hadn't been out of the state of Mississippi (except to go to the New Orleans Airport). However, in the last 6 years she's been on a cruise and out to see all sorts of things. It's fun to watch her experience this - she reminds me not to take things for granted!

And finally, for the first time EVER - all of the grandchildren are in the same place at the same time so you know what that means - PICTURES!!!!!

Anyway, we're having fun with them here. We'll miss them when they go. Hopefully we'll see them again soon!
