Happy Birthday, N!

Today N turned 6 yrs old! Wow - it seems like just yesterday that he was ignoring me for leaving him and his sisters for 3 weeks to work in Rhode Island with my family! (he was 2 when that happened) Anyway, a few days ago I explained that there would probably be snow on his birthday and guess what?!
N is our 3rd child - our first son. He was born exactly 1 year and 2 weeks after M. N was a HUGE surprise and I didn't know he was on his way until I was already 4 months pregnant. Most of our family didn't learn about N until 12 weeks before he was born - boy were they surprised! Because M was born so quickly, our doctor sat at the end of my bed waiting for N to get here! He came pretty quick too - less than an hour. N was 6lbs 5oz when he was born...

Now he's a whopping 45lbs only 6 yrs later! N was a great baby. We called him bull dog because his cheeks were so huge that they hung like chops on a bull dog. He was a beast - thick and brute. Now he's a lean, mean, fast moving machine. He loves soccer and baseball. He throws right handed and bats left handed - a coach's dream! He is a great big brother to L and he's convinced that because he's taller than M that he must be older than she is too!

So there he is - our little guy. He's become quite the looker! He gets embarrassed easily if you mention girls, he loves to run and play, he does great in school, his favorite color is green, he sings along with the radio, he'll try any food at least once, he cares for his sisters and brother, he is my biggest helper when it comes to getting things done, his room is almost always clean without me having to remind him, he always has a positive attitude, and he has a shelf with the Book of Mormon Heroes on it that he calls his "all things from Heaven" shelf. He makes me smile and I'm so GRATEFUL that he's part of our family. We love you N, so much. We love your smile, we love your sense of humor, we love that you love us! Happy Birthday Dude!
