In effort to get Salt Lake "fired up" about the season home opener, the RSL marketing team decided to do a week of fun stuff. They kicked it off last Monday by doing a "scavenger hunt" of sorts around the valley. They started in Provo and worked their way to Bountiful, and then back down to Sandy, Utah. At the top of each hour you would get a clue as to where to be and then the first person to find the RSL rep. would win a prize.
This was taken at Nielson's Custard - in Bountiful. The clue: "There is a place in Bountiful with the best frozen custard we've ever had" - So, Tim, L, M, & N, and myself piled in the car and took off - we knew right where to go. We didn't win at this location - there were a lot of people there so they did a question/answer thing for the prize (a hat and scarf).
The kids, however, were thrilled to see Leo - RSL's mascot. RSL had this picture posted on their website - so cool!!
Anyway we had SO MUCH FUN following the clues and updates on Facebook - all day long. One of the clues led the RSL reps to main street - right across from Tim's office. Tim went down - to see what might happen and long story short - he was the first one to spot the rep and he got this ball - signed by all the RSL players. Oh yes - he was stoked!! Now to find him a stand to display it on!!Saturday night was the home opener... we had so much fun with Will, Becky, AA, and Rick!! I am looking forward to many more games this season - and I hope that they are all just as exciting as this last one - WOW!!
