Another cake....

This is what it looks like in my house when I am ready to decorate a cake. After the cake has been baked and covered in fondant, and chilled... this is what I see....

Yup... they come out of the woodwork to watch. Like it's some spectacular sight!

They usually get board about 10 minutes into the decorating part and then it becomes a "peek-a-boo" of sorts, they pop in and out to see the progress! Then when it's done, I get "oooo's and ah's" and smiles! This lemon chiffon cake, with butter cream filling, is for a neighbor that is celebrating her birthday today. She has no idea this is coming her way!
